DDP  Ranch is located in the Sprague River valley in the beautiful state of Oregon, right in the midst of gorgeous, pine-covered mountains and the majestic Sprague River.

DDP Ranch is comprised of three enterprises.  We raise the finest, double-registered APHA (Paints) and AQHA (Quarter Horses) in the world.  We have started a herd of registered Black Angus cattle with the best bloodlines in the country.  We also raise wonderful German bred German Shepherds with kind dispositions, correct conformation and OFA certified hips and elbows (free of dysplasia).

Macho Town Chica is the embodiment of DDP High Desert Ranch’s horse breeding program. She is the only living APHA Supreme Champion and is one of just a few Superior All-Arounds.  She has produced two Halter World Champions, WKN Chicas Icon and Ima Stylish Chica!  We have trimmed down our breeding stock, but have kept the cream of the crop.  We are dedicated to breeding and producing the finest double registered Paints & Quarter Horses with kind dispositions, superior minds, awesome conformation and wonderful movement. Our goal is to provide our customers with a WINNING halter horse that will perform competitively in today’s specialized performance classes.

Our registered Angus are out of the Buchanan stock, some of the finest Angus in the industry.  We are building our herd and hope to build our reputation as great breeders of these amazing animals.

We own 3 German-bred German Shepherds with the most wonderful dispositions you’ll ever find.   “Nikos”, a neutered male, is our old man.  Falco Vom DDPrice Haus, or just “Falco”, is our breeding male.  He is a grandson of the infamous Zamp Vom Thermados.  He will be OFA certified this June when he turns two and will begin his career as a sire.  We also have a gorgeous female named Anna.  She won’t be bred until she is titled and OFA certified.  All of our dogs are part of our family and spend their time in the house (sometimes in our laps!!) and out on the ranch keeping our animals safe from the coyotes, cougar and bear that frequent our area.
